Delivery deadline - April 25th
Do not zip your files.
Name your files with the English title of your film.
You must deliver two versions of your film (competition only):
DCP (or a master we can convert) and H.264
DCP (for the festival in Grimstad)
Aspect: 2.39:1 or 1.85:1
2D
Stereo, 5.1 or 7.1 sound
24, 25 or 30 FPS
Subtitles
English subtitles are required for non-English dialogue. Subtitles are wanted, although not required, for films with English dialogue. Music videos do not need subtitles.
DCPs must be tested and approved before being handed over to the festival. The quality of the DCP and other delivered content is the filmmaker's responsibility.

Any DCP named "Composition Playlist", "DCP" or any other non-descriptive title will not be accepted, and you will need to create a new DCP correctly named (it's not possible to change the DCP name after creation).

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DCP
If you do not deliver a DCP, we will make a DCP for festival use. Please send us the following:

Up to 40 GB maximum
Frames per second
24, 25, 30 FPS
Aspect ratio and resolution
1.85:1 = 1998×1080 2K or 3996x2160 4K (Flat)
2.39:1 = 2048×858 2K or 4096x1716 4K (Scope)
Other formats, like 1.78:1 and 1.37:1, will be adjusted to these. If you don’t want any adjustments done by us, add letter- or pillarboxes and deliver in flat or scope.
Color
Rec.709/SRGB
Audio format
Embedded or separate uncompressed mono 16 or 24 bit/48khz WAV or AIFF files.
Make sure to mark these correctly (L, R, C, Lfe, Ls, Rs).
Subtitles
Can be burnt into the picture or delivered separately as SRT. No other formats will be accepted.
The festival will convert your alternative format to DCP via the company Pretty Sweet.
The DCP will be available for purchase with a 50% discount after the festival, contact pt@prettysweet.no.

Full HD 1920x1080 16:9. Feel free to add letter- or pillarboxes as you see fit.
Audio
Audio must be embedded in your video.

Terms
If the dialog on your film is not English, English subtitles are required (this does not apply to music videos).
The festival reserves the right to convert any content to DCP format if it serves to maintain the quality of the screenings.
You may only deliver your film online using this Filemail page, no other online delivery methods will be accepted.
By sending us your content by Filemail, you confirm that it's delivered in accordance with the description of formats above and that it is the version that will be screened at the festival.
You may not change your content after delivery.
Delivery deadline - April 25th
If you do not uphold the deadline the festival reserves its right to remove your participation at the festival, there are no refunds of any fees under any circumstances.
The content sent to this Filemail and the content on our cinema servers will be deleted after the festival.
